Colored Pencil I’ve always found succulents fascinating, but became especially enthralled when I was working at a succulent nursery a year back. They are just so resilient, incredibly diverse, and of course so beautiful! This Aloe sp. inflorescence made me do a double take while it glowed perfectly in the sunlight as I walked by one day, it reminded me of fire! It was so fun to try and capture that glow and color of the flowers while showing the structure of the flowers peeling away from the stalk as it continued to grow.
