Watercolor, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Mojave desert tortoises, Gopherus agassizii, spend the majority of their life underground due to the harsh conditions of the desert environment that they live in. For that reason, they can be quite rare to see! This interpretive panel is designed to inform visitors of the Mojave desert tortoise as an incredibly adapted creature that can be rather elusive.
