Pygmy seahorses (Hippocampus bargibanti), also known as Bargibant’s seahorse, are covered with large bulbous tubercules that resemble the color and shape of the polyps of gorgonian corals on which they live. Pygmy seahorses are one of the smallest seahorses, generally measuring less than 2 centimeters tall.
