Project Description

Emperor Nautilus (Nautilus pompilius)

Photoshop, Coquille
The Emperor nautilus (Nautilus pompilius) are nocturnal creatures that linger in deep sloped reefs during the day and ascend to shallower depths at night to feed and lay eggs. Unlike most cephalopods, the nautilus’ tentacles have grooves and ridges instead of suckers.
