Pen & Ink One of my best friends, Nora Bales, has been studying the Chorro Creek bog thistle (Cirsium fontinale var. obispoense) at her workplace and with her excitement for just how special this endangered species is, I’ve grown incredibly excited about it too! Being able to show the relationship between this thistle and one of its pollinators, that is so integral to its survival, and highlighting this thistle and bringing importance to its existence is so important to me.
