Scratchboard I’ve always been captivated by bison. Their majestic nature and their history of overcoming so many challenges through overharvesting and habitat fragmentation. I studied Indigenous studie as my minor in my Undergraduate education and learned of how important the bison was to many indigenous peoples’ cultures and how respected they were and I wanted to pay my respects to the bison through my illustration.
