Colored Pencil, Duralene/Dura-lar I found these bull thistles growing around a pile of debris, they can thrive in many different environments. Although often considered a weed, it provides nectar to hummingbirds, deer love to eat the flowers, and many birds, such as juncos and goldfinches, eat the seeds.
