Joshua Overington is a scientific illustrator and interpretive designer based out of Humboldt County, California. He uses his art to foster a love for the natural world and its many beautiful intricacies. He has a background in environmental education and interpretation and enjoys creating artwork that explains complex subjects and tells stories. He enjoys illustrating all natural and historical subjects but has a particular interest in birds and marine life. His primary mediums are watercolor, gouache and ink. He is fascinated by the perplexing nature of our world and continues to learn more about it every day.
