Acrylic, Photoshop Painting fresh, vibrant berries is a delicious pleasure. The white powdery coating of blueberries is epicuticular wax or “bloom,” which limits water loss to keep the berries juicy. Working with transparent pigments, the color and form in this piece emerged from many layers.
