Amanda is eager to illustrate anything from tiny insect scales to big layers of rock and Earth. She studied Environmental Science at Scripps College, and draws on her science background to visually interpret and explain the natural world. Amanda learned to be curious about nature while growing up in the woods of Massachusetts, chasing frogs and fireflies.
