Hi I’m Gillian! I was born on the east coast, raised on the west coast, and now make my home in Boulder, Colorado where I embrace the outdoors at every opportunity. Through my art, I hope to inspire people to love and protect the natural world. I studied fine art & journalism in college, became an art teacher and now devour science illustration in all of its forms. My preferred subject matter is the flora and fauna of mountain regions…wolves, elk, bears, fish, birds, conifers, moose, fox, deer and of course, fungi! I also love to travel and draw inspiration from scuba diving, hiking, camping, fishing and adventuring around the world.
